Services

Three services. Nothing on the side.

No payroll, no tax prep, no audits. I do the books, and because that’s all I do, I do them properly.

01

Monthly bookkeeping

Your books, kept current and correct every month. Every transaction categorized, every account reconciled to its statement, and reports you can actually read, in the same format month after month.

02

Catch-up & cleanup

Six months behind? Three years? I rebuild the ledger from your statements, fix what’s miscategorized, reconcile every account to the penny, and hand back books you can file from.

03

QuickBooks setup & training

QuickBooks set up the way a contracting business actually runs: chart of accounts, job costing, and bank feeds. Then hands-on training so you understand your own numbers.

Catch-up & cleanup

From shoebox to closed books.

01

The pile

Receipts in the truck, statements in the inbox, months nobody’s touched. It’s more common than you think, and it’s fixable.

02

Sorted

Every transaction matched to a statement and filed where it belongs: materials, subs, fuel, equipment, job by job.

03

Tied out

Every account reconciled to the penny. Books your CPA can file from, and a clean starting line for monthly bookkeeping.

Reconciled to statement
$0.00 difference

Reconciled to the penny. Reported the same way. Every month.

Tied to the statement

Every bank, card, and loan account is reconciled against its actual statement before a report goes out. If a number is in your books, a document backs it.

Same format, every month

Reports arrive in the same structure each month, so March lines up against February and you see the trend, not just the total.

On me to make right

If something's off, I find it and fix it. Accuracy is the job, not an extra. You never have to wonder whether the books are right.

How it works

Four steps. No surprises.

You’ll know exactly what’s happening, what it covers, and what it costs before any work starts.

01

Free consult

A 30-minute call about your trade, your crew, and where your books stand today.

02

Diagnostic & quote

I review your file and send a written scope with a fixed quote. No hourly meter, no surprise invoices.

03

Cleanup & setup

Backlog cleared and QuickBooks structured for job costing before the first regular month.

04

Monthly bookkeeping

Books reconciled and reports delivered on a schedule we set together, with a call whenever you want one.

Industries served

Built for people who build.

If you run a crew, bill by the job, and buy materials by the truckload, you’re exactly who I work for.

No. I keep the books and coordinate with your CPA or tax preparer, handing over a reconciled, clean set of statements. If you need a preparer, I can refer one.

It depends on your business: transaction volume, number of accounts, and how far behind things are. After a free consult and a look at your file, you get a written scope and quote before any work starts.

Never too far. Multi-year cleanups are routine. The diagnostic shows how many months need rebuilding and what it will take.

Yes. I work in your file as an accountant user, or rebuild it if the current structure isn’t serving you. If a move to QuickBooks Online makes sense, I handle that too.

Mostly remote, with in-person meetings around the greater Seattle area when it helps or when you prefer it.

It’s what I recommend and support for contractors. If you’re on QuickBooks Desktop or spreadsheets, I can move you over as part of setup.
